Positive: The staff was friendly and happy to help

Negative: - Very poor breakfast. Overall, the hotel's restaurant is a below-average place I would avoid visiting. - Location is awful - far away from everything worth visiting and forcing you to take a taxi to the harbour every time - Transfer to Gili terribly organized. We had to pay for a fast boat (350 000 RP) because the ferry company arranged by this hotel departed one hour late, apparently to completely fill the ship. It seems that the word “punctuality” is not yet part of the Indonesian vocabulary. People on these islands mostly live from ripping off tourists while loitering all day - which perhaps explains why the area remains so underdeveloped.
