Close to Bowdoin and the islands! Set privately on a beautiful tidal cove on 3 acres, this waterfront property offers gorgeous views and an updated kitchen and formal dining room. *** Well planned kitchen with adjacent breakfast area overlooking the water. Formal dining room, living room, tv area and soaring cathedral ceiling and slider to a private water view sun deck. Two first floor bedrooms and a shared bath. *** Mud room entry with laundry and 3/4 bath. Outdoor shower. The house is close to Bowdoin College, the airport, and a quick 10-minute drive to downtown Brunswick for eating out, shopping etc. or 25-minute drive to Portland. *** The first floor of our home has two living spaces, large kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms, 1.5 baths and laundry. The outdoor spaces include a deck and firepit overlooking the water. *** This is a tidal estuary which means the water goes from 9 feet to the mudflats. This area is known for its oysters and clams. You will occasionally see clammers out harvesting during low tide. Tide charts can be found online by searching Woodward Cove Tide Chart. There is a boat launch very close to the house. *** Guests have the entire place to themselves. All the main living and sleeping spaces are on the main floor so it is very convenient. The first floor of our home has two living spaces, large kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms, 1.5 baths and laundry. There is an office on the indoor balcony which is the only indoor space on the second floor. The outdoor spaces include a deck and firepit overlooking the water. *** The garage and basement are locked off. We work full time so if we are not available we have a handyperson who can help. Please don't hesitate to reach out. *** This is the Maine woods and it is beautiful but not fancy. The house is your typical Maine "camp", rustic and beautiful. There is no air conditioning because we only need it about 2 weeks a year. There are lots of bugs and wildlife on our three acres. Please be aware there are stairs to the basement, deck, and loft. The house is not child proofed. There is no air conditioning. *** There are no barriers to the water and the stairs have a sharp drop off. You need transportation to get around the area. *** The kitchen is equipped with all the basics for cooking a family meal. There is enough tableware for 8 settings. *** Maine is a magical and rugged state and there is so much to do in the coastal region. We are happy to offer suggestions. Please know this property is on three acres and across the cove from conservation land which means there are bugs and wildlife all over. We have waterviews but no dock for boats. The tidal estuary water rises and falls with the tides and it is very easy to get stuck so please be very careful if navigating the water. There is a boat launch a quarter mile away on Princess Point Road.
