Welcome to our "Suburban Spa Oasis"! Whether your night starts by catching a show in Capitol Hill, or cheering on the Hawks downtown, our private 1BR/1BA unit is the ideal spot to unwind and relax for the next day's adventures. Stay indoors and enjoy an epic movie on our big screen TV and sound system. Or head outdoors to our turfed backyard and let the fully enclosed jacuzzi soak away any stress. A retractable roof means you can enjoy the stars, or hide from the rain, no matter the weather!

The space
This unit is a finished basement with 1BR and 1BA, as well as a full living room and a small kitchenette with a coffee maker. The couch in the living room is large enough to comfortably sleep one adult. The unit comes with a private entrance through the backyard. Outdoors there is a patio set and an enclosed hot tub for use.

My dog Yoshio likes to keep an eye out of the window, so you may hear him greeting the neighbors from time to time.

Guest access
You'll have the run of the unit, and the attached backyard and hot tub. Wi-Fi is provided, and the TV is loaded with streaming services.

During your stay
My wife and I both work from home most days, and will be available 24/7 through the app for any issues or to help as needed.

Other things to note
Coffee maker, backyard and turfed back yard with patio furnishings. Flora Bakehouse for coffee / pastries is a good walk to start the morning (and a good workout coming back up those stairs). Access to the backyard entrance is down a hill path and will not be suitable for elderly or mobility limited guests.

Our Neighborhood:
Beacon Hill is a quiet suburb located about fifteen minutes from the Stadiums, or twenty minutes from Pike Place or Capitol Hill (depending on traffic). If you're looking for nightlife or things to do, those are the spots to hit. There are two smaller areas, Columbia City and Georgetown, that are a five minute drive away and offer a more casual, family friendly set of restaurants, bars, ice cream shops etc.

Getting Around:
There is ample street parking near the house, making this a good choice for those who prefer to have a car. You've also got the 36 bus line a short walk away, which takes you on a quick trip to the downtown hotspots. Plus, this bus line also hooks up with a nearby Link Light Rail station, so you can easily hop on to get to nearby cities or catch a flight at the airport.
