Welcome to Seven Bees! Just blocks from downtown Sandpoint, our newly renovated 2 bedroom 2 bath house is nestled among native plants and wildflowers designed to attract bumble bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Enjoy all Sandpoint has to offer from the comforts of a modern home in a beautiful setting. The house features an open floor plan with two spacious full bathrooms, a farmhouse-style kitchen, a large dining table, two bedrooms, and washer/dryer. Both bedrooms have a comfortable queen bed. In addition, there is a spare twin mattress available that can be used in the bedrooms or in the living room. With all the appliances you need, the spacious modern kitchen features beautiful walnut countertops and an apron-front farmhouse sink. Wi-Fi is provided and the house has a large smart TV for streaming internet content (cable TV or streaming subscriptions are not provided). Fans are provided, but please note that this house does not have air conditioning. The landscaping offers a summer long parade of colorful blooms and winding gravel paths that you will enjoy while relaxing in the backyard or on one of two porches. Children can explore the creative play area within the safety of a fully fenced yard. Enjoy your coffee while soaking up the morning sun on the side deck. The large covered porch is a great place to BBQ and take in cool summer evenings. When you are ready to explore the city, downtown Sandpoint is just a few blocks away. The house comes with four older cruiser-style bikes that will get you to downtown in just minutes where you'll have access to restaurants, ice cream shops, bars, City Beach, the Sandpoint Farmer's Market, and major events like the Sandpoint Music Festival. A private off-street parking area with spaces for 3 vehicles is provided behind the house, allowing you to enjoy Sandpoint without the hassles of downtown parking. Please note that the landscaping is a work in progress and will take years to achieve fully functional pollinator habitat. As we get the kinks ironed out, the yard may have some weeds or appear messy- certainly not the manicured lawn you might be used to seeing! In the winter months, we make this house our home with our daughter and during the summer live in our nearby off-the-grid mountain property. We welcome you to share our home this summer and enjoy all Sandpoint, the surrounding area, and our peaceful space have to offer. Please note: the City of Sandpoint regulates vacation rental homes.
