This newly built, custom farmhouse has luxury features as well as original artistic, rustic touches that harken back to the property’s 120-year family heritage. For example, the main bedroom has an adjustable split-king Sleep Number bed (you can set your own comfort level), and its handmade eight-post bedframe and seating bench were crafted using trees from the house site. Thoughtful touches (including a well-equipped kitchen, blackout shades in the bedrooms, and three new Roku TVs that connect to the internet) and idyllic views ensure this is a home you will return to again and again. There are over 1.7 miles of private walking paths on the property, and it’s just a short drive to Holmes Forest or Jeter Mountain Orchard (10 minutes), DuPont Forest or Sky Top Orchard (15 minutes), and Pisgah Forest or Rock Creek Mountain Bike Park (20 minutes).
