Perfect StayCation Spot Pacific City&Pet Friendly! | House in cloverdale

Cozy older updated mobil home in Pacific City/ Woods its only a 5 minutes Drive to Haystack Rock at Cape Kiwanda & the Pelican Pub and Brewery with lots of hiking trails nearby. We are nestled in a small offshoot of Pacific City called Woods. It was really the earliest settlement in the area where the Native Americans had their summer camps because its the perfect location. Bring your well mannered dog along. Off the beaten path...peaceful after a day on the crowded beach!
The space
We are located 1 block from the Nestucca River, one of the best Salmon holes in the area. We have plenty of parking if you want to bring your Boat,
ATV / Dune Buggy or if you want to go dory fishing, hit the river or visit nearby Sandlake Recreation Area about 8 miles away. Perfect getaway for Surfers too! Plenty of camping space if you want to have a camp out.

This is a one bedroom 14x40 updated Mobil home on a oversized private lot in a older established neighborhood (the oldest part of town). The deer wander thru daily and will gladly eat right from your hand if you bring them a treat, they especially like fruit (it's also the best treat for them). If you want to get to town or the beach it is a few minutes drive.
You can bring your well behaved dog for a $30 non refundable fee ( per Pet) but you must NOT leave the dog(s) locked in the house or chained up outside while you are away at anytime!.Bring their own blanket/ bed and please keep them off the furniture. The property is not fenced. You must clean up after them. Friendly older dog next door "Jack"is a great friend and is well mannered with other dogs. I will send you a request for the pet fee(s) after you book.

It has a full kitchen with most necessary items to cook anything you're in the mood for. There is a new propane barbecue on the back porch. The Queen bed is super comfy and there are couple of comfy bathrobes hanging in the closet. your third person can sleep on the couch( extra bedding for that is in the dresser in the bedroom). The nice big shower has amazing water pressure for the best shower you've had in a long time. There is a washer & dryer
( sand stays outside please).

There is Internet with WiFi . We have a 42" SmartTV with basic cable and Roku.
( You can access YOUR OWN Netflix or Hulu etc... ) in the living Room and a 32" TV in the bedroom. It’s easy to use turn the TV on and select the Roku app and search away. If you want to watch cable use the spectrum remote and select the HDMI 2 input from the main Homepage Roku screen. Sign in as a guest and out at the end of your stay. Please if you change anything on the WiFi or modem then set it back to where you started.

The covered front porch is a nice spot for enjoying the morning sun and a cup of coffee and the smoking area Please close the doors when smoking to keep the house smoke free. There is a small deck in the back to keep your toes dry on the dewy mornings.
There is a huge back yard with a picnic table and a fire pit great for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows(you supply your own wood). If you would like to bring extra people to camp out thats ok but they will be a $20 charge per tent. You will need to make special arrangements with me.

There are a few Dory boats in the neighborhood that the guys get up early to go fishing so you might hear a motor run for a few minutes but you can easily go back to sleep or get up and see if you can catch a boat if there is an open seat. This doesn't happen a lot out side of salmon season but it does happen and pretty regular during summer season, especially on the weekends. We are afterall "Pacific City Home of the Dory Fleet". It's always fun to find out how the trip went and often there is dungenous crab and fish for the taking. The neighbors do like to have bon fires during the summer and can get a bit rambunctious but they usually quite down at a reasonable hour so they can get up to go fishing.You are welcome to join in or have your own bon fire in the fire pit in the back yard.
This is a great place to spend a night, a week or two away from the crowds but only minutes to the beach... a perfect staycation spot!
Please enjoy yourselves relax, make yourselves at home but remember to treat it like your own and be respectful of our beautiful beach house and the neighborhood.

We do have recording security cameras on the premises. They will be used during the checkin and checkout period. Once your complete party has checked in the cameras are turned off.

Other things to note
Please be honest about the number of guests in your party and pay for the extra people or dogs, there are additional costs for extra cleaning time and supplies. You will be required to supply the names and all vehicles that will be at the property. If you are found to have unregistered guests/ dogs you will be asked to leave immediately. This will be strongly enforced. If at the last minute you would like to add more guests please let me know and I will gladly add them onto your reservation.

The directions I have listed are the easiest to find us. It seems to be helpful if you put the address in your phone or Gps or print it out before heading out as the cell service can be sketchy at times.
