Welcome to Paul's Waterfront Haven, a private waterfront retreat on the beautiful St. Lawrence River. My goal is to provide every guest with a comfortable, relaxing, and memorable stay.
This is my personal cottage, and I am pleased to share it with guests who appreciate a peaceful waterfront experience. The area is quiet, relaxing, and conveniently away from high-traffic motorized watercraft.
It is especially enjoyable for guests who like paddleboarding, kayaking, boating, fishing, ship watching, or simply sitting by the river and unwinding.

Property Overview
Paul's Waterfront Haven is a year-round, four-season waterfront accommodation equipped with central air conditioning and central heat.
The property is very well appointed with the comforts of home and sits on 100 feet of waterfront on one of the widest sections of the St. Lawrence River.
During much of the year, guests may see large ships passing through the channel, including the occasional cruise ship.
This part of the river sits between two locks, which helps water levels remain remarkably stable. The dock provides approximately 5 feet of depth off the 50-foot dock.
Security Cameras
The exterior of the property has multiple security cameras to help protect the property, guests' belongings, and any vessels guests bring. Cameras are exterior only. There are no cameras monitoring interior living spaces.

Waterfront Experience
Deep-water dock access and panoramic river views.
The waterfront is one of the defining features of Paul's Waterfront Haven.
The river is often calm and peaceful, but weather conditions can change quickly. Please use caution when boating, paddling, swimming, fishing, or enjoying the dock area.

Guests bringing their own watercraft may enjoy convenient river access. The boat launch is located at the entrance to Willow Drive, approximately 120 feet from the dock.

Available for guests to use are two paddleboards and two kayaks. A liability waiver must be signed before using kayaks or paddleboards.

Dock & River Views
Private dock and river view.
The dock area offers wide, open views of the St. Lawrence River and a peaceful waterfront setting.

Garburator / Garbage Disposal
The kitchen sink has a garburator activated by the plug during use. Cold water must be run while it is operating and briefly after use.
Only soft food waste should be placed into the garburator
Do not place bones, fruit pits, shells, grease, cooking oils, hard objects or fibrous materials into the unit
Be careful not to drop utensils or other objects into the garburator
Gas Range Safety
The main cottage is equipped with a gas cooking range and oven.
For safety and proper ventilation, the kitchen exhaust hood must be operated whenever the gas range or oven is in use.
The exhaust hood helps remove cooking odors, moisture, heat, smoke, and combustion by-products generated during cooking.
Before turning on any burner or the oven, please switch on the range hood and leave it operating until cooking has been completed and the kitchen area has been adequately ventilated.
Guests are asked not to operate the gas range or oven without using the exhaust hood.
Handmade Kitchen Table
The kitchen table is handmade. Please use placemats and avoid placing hot cookware, wet items or abrasive items directly on the table surface.
Quartz Countertops
The kitchen and bathroom countertops are quartz. Please do not place hot pots, pans, trays, hair tools or other hot items directly on the countertops. Heat can leave a permanent ring, burn mark, or other irreversible damage. Please always use trivets, heat pads, cutting boards, or other protective surfaces.
Outdoor Cooking
The property is equipped with both a Napoleon gas barbecue and a Traeger wood pellet smoker.

Use only Traeger or Pitmaster wood pellets
Keep the smoker covered whenever it is not in use
During rain or wet weather, make sure the protective cover is securely installed
Moisture can damage pellets inside the hopper and auger system
Use the proper shutdown cycle, allow the unit to cool, replace the cover and ensure the hopper lid is closed
Guest Responsibility
Guests are responsible for damage resulting from unauthorized pellets, water intrusion caused by failure to properly cover the smoker, or misuse of the equipment.
Fire Safety, Backup Power & Utilities
Fire Safety
The property is equipped with fire extinguishers and a pressurized fire-suppression can designed for barbecue fires. Contact emergency services for any fire that cannot be safely controlled.
Backup Power System
The property is protected by a standby Generac generator. In the event of a power outage, the generator starts automatically and restores power without any action required by guests.

High-speed internet is provided through Starlink satellite internet. Both buildings have filtered and treated well water.

Garbage collection occurs on Monday mornings. If your stay includes a Monday, please place garbage out for collection as directed.

The grass on the property is cut weekly, usually in the afternoon.

Guests are encouraged to be mindful of the usage of well water.
