Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Olea – the kindness and dedication of the team truly made our experience special. Every single request was handled promptly and with a smile, which made us feel very well taken care of. Our villa with an infinity pool and jungle view was absolutely stunning. That said, a few points could be improved: • The photos advertised a mountain view, but the bamboo has grown since and blocked the view (though the team kindly changed our villa upon request). • Bath towels were forgotten a couple of times during housekeeping. • The shower head was broken, but maintenance came immediately after I mentioned it – excellent responsiveness! • The sun loungers and outdoor chairs could use a deep cleaning. • It would be helpful to remind guests not to leave food outside, as monkeys can steal it. • Finally, we wish we had been informed about ongoing construction work, which disrupted the peaceful mornings from 9 a.m. onwards. Despite these inconveniences, the team was always reactive and accommodating. However, considering the price of our stay (almost 8 million IDR), a small commercial gesture would have been appreciated – for example, a complimentary breakfast, the two minibar drinks, or even a free day of scooter rental.
