Summary: I stay here during early November. The staff are absolutely wonderful at the hotel, very friendly and always ready to help you with anything you need. The hotel is set back from the road and is quiet and the grounds are lovely and very picturesque in the evening. The rooms are a good size with a nice balcony. They serve afternoon tea as part of the stay so a nice touch when you come in from trips out. The hotel laundry service is very good value. The pool area needs some updating and repair in my opinion as the decking looks very old and I was a bit wary of walking barefoot across it. The biggest let down unfortunately is the food, everything was a bit tasteless including breakfast and the two evening meals I had in the hotel restaurant. I can’t give half stars otherwise I’d say a 3.5/5 (3 seems low but 4 is too high)
