Travel Purpose: business

Positive: I have been staying here three times as I regularly travel to Melaka for work. However the staff at the counter, the experience with them varies. Some are good, some don't take note of your requests. The hot water also regularly is out at night so I have to bathe in cold water at like 9/10pm. The aircon is also very noisy. The first time I stayed there, there were a couple of men next door (I had a connecting room) who were speaking very loudly and swearing and smoking at like 3am in the middle of the night. Luckily the staff responded promptly to that. But in general the rooms are quite noisy. The cleanliness of the carpet in the corners etc could be improved. I'm also really annoyed by the pool and gym opening hours. As someone who works in the day and comes back in the evening, I can only exercise after 7/8pm but the facilities are closed by then. I do like the location as it is near a nice park and the security guards are friendly and I like the proximity to chetti village and the morning temple sounds.

Summary: Gave it a few tries but won't be coming back here
