The beach is only half a mile south down Highway 101, accessed via the beautiful Seal Rock State State Recreation Site. If you drive 10 miles north to Newport, you'll find plentiful restaurants, shops, the famous Oregon Coast Aquarium, and all sorts of entertainment and lovely scenery along the Newport Historic Bayfront. Waldport is only five miles south, and the charming town of Yachats less than 10 miles beyond.
