House Rules
NOISE & QUIET HOURS (10pm- 7am)
We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood, and our neighbors are extremely important to us. A single neighbor complaint will result in cancellation without refund.
• This is a duplex property. While each unit is fully private, normal household sounds may occasionally travel between units. This is standard for duplex living and does not qualify for refunds or cancellations.
A white noise machine is provided for guests who are sensitive to sound during resting hours.
• The property is equipped with a Minut Noise Monitoring System.
This system monitors decibel levels only and does not record audio or video, ensuring full guest privacy.
• No parties, events, or gatherings are not permitted at any time. Any evidence of a party or event will result in immediate cancellation without refund.
⚠️ A $1,500 fine, and dispatch of our local security team will be sent to escort guests from the premises.
ELECTRONICS & CLIMATE CONTROL
• Please do not unplug TVs, lamps, or the coffee machine. All devices are intentionally placed and pre-set for optimal use.
• Thermostat temperature should remain between 68°F and 78°F.
Do not set the thermostat below 67°F, as this may cause damage to the HVAC system.
• When leaving the home, kindly unplug personal electronics such as hair dryers, curling irons, and similar devices.
GENERAL HOUSE RULES
• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, both indoors and outdoors, with particular care around the toddler play area.
• Missing or damaged items will be charged to the primary booker. This includes, but is not limited to: strollers, playpens, PlayStation console & controllers, dollhouse & train items, board games, table games such as pool table, poker table, foosball, accessories, and other provided amenities.
• Only registered guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the property.
• Unauthorized or overnight guests will result in immediate cancellation without refund.
• Smoking, vaping, drugs of any kind is not permitted inside or around the property.
⚠️ Any evidence of smoking or drugs will result in a $1,500 fee.
• Pets are not permitted.
⚠️ Any violation will result in a $750 fee per pet, per night, a double cleaning fee, and additional charges for any required deep cleaning or damage.
• Please do not rearrange furniture.
• Pre-check-in luggage storage is not available.
• Shoes must be removed indoors. A shoe cabinet and boot mat are provided at the entrance for your convenience.
• Food and drinks are not permitted on couches or in bedrooms.
• Snow shovels and ice scraper/snow brush are provided during the winter months.
⚠️Unreturned or lost items will result in $75 replacement fee.
• Mail or package deliveries are not permitted at the property.
• Loitering outside or around the home is not permitted.
• The City of Cambridge strictly enforces trash and recycling regulations. Improper disposal can result in fines issued by the city, which will be charged to the primary booker.
• Plumbing Care:
Flush toilet paper only.
Please remove hair from shower drains after use.
⚠️ A $500 plumbing fee will be apply if a plumber is required due to misuse.
Parking
• Guests will be issued 2 visitor parking permits.
• Guests should follow all posted street signs and are responsible for any violations.
⚠️ Each unreturned visitor parking permit will result in a $1,000 replacement fee.

• Provided for guest convenience and adult operations only.
• Not intended for jogging, rough terrain, or carrying items other than a properly secured child.
• Please fold and store indoors when not in use.

We reserve the right to cancel your reservation without refund if any of these rules are violated.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
This home is privately owned. The host/owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, or loss of personal belongings or valuables that may occur during your stay.
For your safety and security, we have two active doorbell security cameras. One is located at the exterior front entrance, the other is located at the rear entrance behind the house. These cameras record video and audio when motion is detected. These cameras are carefully positioned to ensure they do not face into the interior of the home, preserving your privacy. There are no indoor cameras.
Additionally, there is a smart home noise monitoring device in the kitchen. This only detects noise decibel levels. This device does not record audio or video. The purpose is to help ensure noise levels remain appropriate, preventing disturbance to our neighbors and supporting a peaceful environment.
Security cameras and noise monitoring devices operate 24/7.
