The back lawn is peaceful and private. While not on the water, it is just four miles to the Blue Hill Town Park with a wonderful children's play area and swimming beach, an excellent grocery store, pharmacy, health food store, library, and hospital. Enjoy climbing Blue Hill Mountain and hiking on a variety of well-maintained trails, try out the many delicious options for dining or take out, and peruse the unique shops and galleries highlighting local craftspeople and artists. Guests have fun exploring the Blue Hill Peninsula, Bar Harbor, and Acadia National Park, or find the house with all of the books a peaceful way to spend part of their time.
