From 1st january 2023, a tourist tax of rm 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. this tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. guests with a valid malaysian identity card or valid permanent residents my pr card are exempted. the safety and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues is always a top priority for us. in light of the recent covid-19 developments, alila bangsar kuala lumpur bars are temporarily closed until further notice in accordance with the guidelines from ministry of health malaysia, effective 1 march 2024, all room rates are subject to 8% sales and service tax (sst). additionally, a tourism tax of myr 10 per room per night applies to non-malaysian guests, in line with government regulations. alila bangsar is a 100% smoke-free property; a cleaning fee of myr 1,000 per day will be charged for violations. pets, including service animals, are not permitted. guests may take personal photos in dining and public areas while respecting others’ privacy. however, commercial or media photography requires prior approval from the marketing communications team. conveniently located with direct access to bangsar lrt via a sheltered link bridge, the hotel provides easy connectivity to kuala lumpur’s key attractions.
